GEOTHERMAL
Procurement of technical information derived from cores cut at CERRO BLANCO for the drilling of the geothermal wells currently producing STEAM to generate electric energy, and how the correlation made from the analysis of these cores helped to drill these geothermal wells in a more effective place because seismic campaigns did not showed conclusive data and were more expensive for such a limited area.
Recently we performed a successful drilling at "ElCeibillo" Geothermal field in AMATITLAN with extraordinary results.

MINING
The coring for sampling is the most economical way to drill with some certainty and Island Oil hasmade it clear in Gold and Silver Mines in Guatemala
The cores were drilled with a specialized power drill for stratigraphic wells that can drill over 1,500 meters.
The mines for which this companyhave worked are global, as Goldcorp / Entre Mares in their gold and geothermal projects in Cerro Blanco, (Asuncion Mita, Jutiapa) and a contract with Tahoe Resources in its silver projectin San Rafael - Santa Rosa.
